This person would have a basic understanding of the transportation industry. What will you do?
- tracking and tracing daily booked loads
- communicating with our CFO, Sales team and customers on a daily basis
- overseeing shipments/ orders from start to finish
- vetting carriers
- uploading and onboarding carrier data into our TMS systems
- coordinate pick ups and delivery appointments
- requesting POD’s upon completion of delivery
- finalizing carrier charges and communicating to accounting team
- manage and maintaining basic paperwork
- daily office duties as directed
Knowledge/Skills:
- 2+ Years in an Operations Role or Customer Service Role
- 1+ Year in Administrative or Project Management Role
Background in Freight Brokering considered an asset
- Strong computer skills a must
- MS Office, Word, Excel Proficient
- Knowledge of Basic CRM Systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities
- Growth mindset and learning based attitude
- High desire to work in a rapid paced team environment
- Great ability to focus
